Introducing Rusty! This handsome boy would love to be snuggled up in his forever home. Rusty loves the company of other dogs so he would make a great friend for an existing dog in the home. He doesn’t know what to do with himself when excited so would do best with a calmer, maybe older, dog. He’s comfortable staying crated for the workday, with a midday break to stretch and play. Rusty is still quite a shy boy who prefers not to be approached by strangers. Once he trusts a person, he is more comfortable, showing that he is a loving, loyal boy. Rusty is very good on the leash with minimal direction. and walks nicely as long as Rusty knows a few
He would prefer to Bevin a home without young children who would find it hard to give him the space that he needs. Rusty sits on command, and is learning to lie down on command. He travels well in the car and is happy to get in and sit nicely for the journey. At night, he’d happily curl up in or beside the bed if given the choice, but he’s also perfectly content to sleep out in the living room with our other dog. He settles well and sleeps through the night
