Pointer arrived in poor health and with some injuries, we don't know how he got them. He is a sweet soul, who needs a loving home with a family who will adore and spoil him! He is a super gentle boy, who is not used to being showered with love and attention from our staff but he is warming up. He just needs to learn that people can be kind.

Pointer is such a gentle and calm dog with the sweetest disposition. He doesn’t like getting into cars so he’ll need a bit of help getting in. But once in he rides calmly. He was a bit nervous in the house at first, pacing a bit and spent most of his first day just staring out the window. Pointer loves going on walks and walks well on a leash ( no pulling). He is house trained but has had the odd accident. Pointer doesn’t chew on anything but toys. He gets along with other dogs and is great with people and kids. By day two he was feeling much more comfortable in the house, wagging his tail, and playing with toys. He doesn’t sit on furniture, he prefers to lay on the floor. By day three and four he was feeling much more comfortable at our home. He was constantly happy to be with us and enjoying getting attention. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Pointer, and we know with just a little bit of patience, love, and training he will become the perfect family dog.
